Bradley Wiggins has joined Team Sky and hopes for success at the Tour de France in July and then at the London Olympics.
Wiggins will set his eyes on the over all victory at the Tour de France and the time trial event in the London Olympics. Britain has a lot of competitions this season and trying to separate the focus of the star athletes, Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish will be a failure says Dave Brailsford, performance director of British cycling and also the general manager of Team Sky. The best thing to do would be to allow the two cyclists choose which title they want and then focus completely on achieving it.
Bradley Wiggins has already won three Olympic medals and being 32 years of age; he would never have the chance to win the prestigious Tour de France again, so it is believed that he is going to focus on winning the race at France while Cavendish focuses on the Olympics. Wiggins has already won the stage race at Paris-Nice and with Alberto Contador banned from the Tour de France due to doping, Bradley Wiggins has a good chance of winning it. The only contender he has to defeat is last time winner Cadel Evans from Australia.
Bradley Wiggins has a lot of experience and training and with proper guidance from Brailsford, he can surely go ahead and help Great Britain clinch a title at Tour de France in July this year. Great Britain has a plan chalked out for Wiggins and till now, given his track record, it can be see that he is delivering and fulfilling all of them. His last years victories have helped hi gain experience and confidence and belief in himself and this will play an important role in his win this year.
