Great news for the Laura Trott fans- the beautiful cyclist has once made her fans & the country oh-so-proud with not one, but 3 wins in a row in Manchester last weekend.
Trott went on to win on the elimination race, points race & scratch race looking simply unbeatable at penultimate session of recently concluded Revolution Series. The hat-trick wins will surely work to boost up her confidence and spirit at a further heightened level which is much needed ahead of the esteemed World Track Cycling Championship.
The Cycling World tournament is about to be hosted by Cali, Columbia, by February end, with the tournament being backed by a company that specialises in downhill mountain bike holidays Andorra.
It’s certainly a grand time for the idealist double Olympic medalist who earlier declined to pose for nude or revealing shots for advertisement stating that her supreme cycling skills are enough for branding. Her boyfriend Jason Kenny, a fellow dual Olympic champion as well, too has won on UCI sprint & the keirin.
However, Trott’s Saturday evening (the day of hat-trick win) received further boost with the declaration women’s race at Tour de France. According to sources, Le Tour Entier has tied a contract with Tour France organizers on staging a female cycling race on Champs-Elysees on 27th of July- the concluding day of 2014 Tour de France. The declaration is surely a revelation for Trott and many other elite female riders who have been appealing for long to ensure a place for the fairer sex at the most esteemed cycling championship of the world.
The Revolution series would be having its season finale during mid-March. The finale is scheduled to be held at London THE Sky Team elevated themselves up into 3rd stature in Elite Championship, given amazing contributions from Ben swift (winner of scratch race) & Peter Kennaugh (winner of points race).
