BRADLEY WIGGINS PLANS TO RACE IN 2017

The British cycling team has named former Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins on the roster for the 2017 season.


Wiggins, who had planned to retire at the end of the previously ended 2016 season, has decided otherwise as this was made public by the cycling team of Great Britain when he was announced as part of the team for the next season.

The five time Olympic gold medalist and former Tour de France has hinted previously that his career had come to a graceful end, saying that his final competitive event was the November Gent six day outing. However, after Wiggins emerged victorious in the event with the former team sky leader Mark Cavendish, he seemed to have changed his min as the victory had opened a new door of opportunities for the upcoming season.
